No work in trench because too wet from rain the day before
12:30-7pm
Tools: pick axe, trowels, buckets, dustpans, wheelbarrow
Soil: charcoal filled soil
Passes: 1 pick pass beginning in NE
Picking began at 3 pm after the sun had hit the trench. Sifting done in the trench. Soil muddy and clay filled. Significantly less materials found in this pass than the previous ones in Locus 8.
Terracotta: 2 bowls
Pottery: 315 pieces
Other: 137 pieces bone; 4 bulk bronze
