trench photos

began morning by taking a cut into E 149-50 S 58, locus 14 Photos taken by photographer. Took cut into E 149-50 S 57. A large piece of vitrified terracotta (6 cm) excavated. Soil remains  filled with carbon, plaster and terracotta - supple. find p.42.

Took cut into E 149-50 S56. Several large pieces of vitrified tile (5-6cm) were excavated from this meter. Began 2nd cut into locus 14 starting at E 149-50 S 60. Soil has become darker. New locus will be assigned. Baulked east, west, north, and south walls of E 149-50 S 60.

Closign depth locus 14: SE 95 cm bd, SW 98 cm bd, NW 81 cm bd, NE 81 cm bd, NID 90 cm bd.
