Bone Summary
In the 2005 season, T-36 yielded large quantities of bone. For the most part, the bones appeared to be unworked and there were few indications of butchery. Exceptions to this include a possible piece of worked ivory ( Find #1 p. 235 ), an ivory bead ( Find #2 p. 235 ), and a possible piece of burnt ivory ( Find #6 p. 259 ). In addition, many of the bones found were fairly large and appeared to belong to a sheep or an animal of comparable size.
Locus 5 produced the most bone, with 261 pieces recovered. Loci 6 and 8 also yielded large quantities of bone (137 and 115 pieces respectively), while little bone was recovered from the remaining loci.
