The morning began baulk walling and scraping locus 13 . The goal is the get locus 13 level to locus 10 . The morning began clear and sunny and is scheduled to remain the same.
Opening Elevations:
NW: 26.72 m AE
NE: 26.70 m AE
SW: 26.51 m AE
SE: 26.54 m AE
The floor of locus 13 is being scraped to better define the delineation of ancient floor and previously excavated area. In some places along this border the floor surface appears to lip up and break. The soil of locus 13 is full of small rocks as well as a few medium rocks. There
continues to be small pockets of harder-packed galestra-like soil present but the majority of the locus is still the brown sandy soil. The soil we are baulk walling is only a part of locus 13 as we baulk walled before declaring the locus. Due to this, all material recovered from the baulk will simply be classified as locus 13 material. The wall is producing large amounts of tile as well as medium amounts of pottery and small amounts of bone. While leveling locus 13 a medium sized piece of pietra fetida (Special find #1) was found.

Elevation: 26.76 m AE
Coordinates: 110.73E/43.51S
Leveling and scraping was continued throughout the extent of the locus. In addition, locus 10 is being swept and lightly scraped. While scraping locus 13 a sculpture
fragment (Special Find #2) was found.

While sorting through the tile bowl a frieze plaque fragments (Special Find #3) was found.
Special Find #3: Frieze Plaque Fragment
Elevation: ~26.67 m AE
Coordinates: ~110-111E/43-47S
It has been decided to keep locus 10 and locus 13 separate to preserve their separate contexts.
PM
Photographs were taken of in situ tile and plaster on the floor surface of locus 10 before the afternoon break. After break we defined the rocks in the middle/western region of locus 10 . These are being defined to determine if they
are connected to the linear rock feature in T-76. We are also scraping down approximately a 1m x 1m square roughly in the northern/middle region of locus 10 . The 1m x 1m is approximately \xbd way between the linear rock feature in T-66 and the feature in T-81, so roughly 2.90m northeast of the T-66 rock feature. We are scraping here in the hopes of finding a post-hole. While scraping 3 fragments of vitrified terracotta (Special find #4) were found.
Special Find #4: Vitrified Terracotta
Elevation: 26.55 m AE
Coordinates: 109.32E/44.81S
While scraping we found another piece of vitrified terracotta (Special Find #5) was found.
Special Find #5: Vitrified Terracotta
Elevation: 26.57 m AE
Coordinates: 109.17E/44.95S
The decision was made to stop scraping down and focus was shifted to cleaning and gently scraping the floor surface. While scraping a piece of vitrified terracotta (Special Find #6) was found.
Special Find #6: Vitrified terracotta
Elevation: 26.59 m AE
Coordinates: 109.05E/45.15S
We have now begun to bulk find vitrified terracotta. It has been determined that excavation if complete for T-66 for the 2015 season. Closing elevations will be taken for the remaining open loci, locus 10 and locus 13 .
