Tiles- 3

Excavation continued in the trench master's absence.  The dike between cuts 2 and 3 was cut and dirt dumped into cut 2.  Bedrock and galestra struck along the western edge at about 1.0-1.1 m.  It is a meter wide shelf of galestra primarily in grid FF.  Excavation

extended below this shelf through the rock stratum. Various pieces of frieze and cornice as well as possible statue fragments were uncovered and labelled generally CA28 (B).
