July 13 Tuesday A.M. only
Two to three workmen worked alone to remove a section of galestra approximately 1m wide around the stones in the eastern half of feature. This exposed a further small section of black earth, just part of the C level, but not entirely removed before - from this were sent down 1 strawberry box of sherds
