28 July 69 Mon.

The tile in J-K 7 were cleaned and lifted. The rest of the I-M 6-10 area was begun to be cleared. It contained mostly tiles.

Meanwhile an area to the South was cleared (Section 10), 1.5m wide, I-M 11-12.50. This produced a cornice fragment close to topsoil, but a normal amount of small tile fragments in the 2nd layer.
