Interpretation The cut interrupts the eastern edge of the crushed tufo floor of room 2 and wall SU 1186 and continues right down to the bedrock. There is a little posthole on the bottom of the cut. The cut either represents a robbing activity or the erection of a pole/post at some point after the abandonmnet of the building. Maybe at the point when the square channel was built (SU 1228)

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
