Interpretation The cut interrupts the eastern edge of the crushed tufo floor of room 2 and wall SU 1186 and continues right down to the bedrock. There is a little posthole on the bottom of the cut. The cut either represents a robbing activity or the erection of a pole/post at some point after the abandonmnet of the building. Maybe at the point when the square channel was built (SU 1228)
