| Description | A fragment of fine impasto spindle whorl with fluted exterior. Portions of nine flutes are preserved around the exterior of the conical profile. A flute has a max. pres. width of approximately 0.00409m. The flutes meet at pointed arrises with max. pres. width of approximately 0.00134m. The max. pres. diameter face of the spindle whorl fragment is not well preserved, but appears to have had a beveled edge and possibly a depression concentrically around the vertical perforation hole. The max. pres. diameter of the perforation hole is 0.00418m. |
