Position Located fairly central within areas B, a bit of north of center. Located within drainage channel.

Layer Surface Layer is in two levels, to the west the layer is approx 15 cm high while to the east the tiles are already visible (at a lower slope). Both slopes are relatively even.

Interpretation Fill of cut 1483, soil placed above tiles (most likely a burial) after deposition. later above this level on the west the sewer embankment was placed (SU 1384). This later sewer explains why the fill to the east is less thick than to the west. In the east the fill was cut down into to make the drainage channel. Actually it is to assume that the grave, of which the fill is described here, was dug after the abandonment of the sewer.
