Surface exploration methods The project area was initially surveyed in transects 10m apart. Once artifacts were found, transect intervals were reduced to a distance of 5m apart. All cultural material was marked with pin-flags. Artifacts were then mapped and collected. Site boundaries were delineated according to concentrations on the site map.
