Surface exploration methods | This site was plowed and well washed with 90% visibility. This site was covered with a light to moderate scatter of fossiliferous chert flakes, averaging six flakes per 1M2. The southeast edge of the site contained natural blocks of fossiliferous chert. There were also natural chert blocks in all the ditches in this field. Several Wyandotte flakes were encountered near the center of the site. A Late Woodland triangular point tip was found near the eastern edge of the site. No fcr or staining was present on the site. |
