Description | A large stone floor that was littered with many large random stones placed in a very disorderly pattern. The disarray of the stones make it difficult to identify this as a floor, but its association with f830 seems to be fairly certain. The floor was at one point apparently covered in plaster because large traces were still evident on & among the stones. The centre baulk was removed in sectoin the better to discern the relationship with f830 but the Western extent is an yet unknown because of its course into 827. |
