| Description | Bucchero base fragment with two finished faces. The interior finished face is smooth and slightly concave. The exterior finished face is smooth and slightly convex, in profile the vessel wall beveling to a flat base. The vessel wall, which preserves the max. pres. thickness, narrows to the base, which preserves the min. pres. thickness. Enough of the base's curve is preserved to determine the base's diameter to have been approximately 0.05m. |
