Condition | Two fragments are preserved, the smaller of which is a join of several small sherds. Both fragments are broken on all sides. The surface of each fragment is well worn. |
Description | Two small fragments of Italo-Corinthian ware are preserved. Both preserve vestiges of a reddish brown paint, which is visible in thin striations along the convex face of each fragment. The larger fragment preserves portions of two such striations that run the length of the fragment, approximately 0.008 m apart from each other. The majority of the convex face of the smaller fragment preserves paint. Slight vestiges of slip are visible on the reverse, concave face of each fragment. |
