Surface exploration methods Shovel tests were performed at a 15 meter interval within a fallow field with 0% visibility. All positive shovel test probes were bracketed by the placement of four shovel test probes placed at a 5 meter interval from the positive probe in each cardinal direction. This method was continued until negative shovel tests were encountered. All artifacts discovered were collected.
