Description Top of a double handle preserving round, cone-shaped knob of two layers and a female face below. The curve of the face shows that it must be part of the exterior half of the handle. The face, broken diagonally below the nose, is molded and shows two incised almond-shaped eyes. It is bordered on both sides by hair. On each side of the head at eye level there are two spirals (the tips of wings). There is an attachment scar below the knob, presumably the juncture of the interior section.
Fabric Description Impasto. Fine grain. Burned black to brown.
