Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Description Large pit cut into the lower despoits of OP II and possibly sealed by tholos. Although divided into multiple lots for enhanced stratigraphic control, pit fill was relatively consistent and apparentely composed of general architectural rubble with some associated trash. Fragments of human bone and a few large vessel fragments suggest some primary deposition. Five carbon samples removed should provide datable material. The pit itself cut an earlier architectural feature , F272 whereupon further digging was abandoned. Removed in following lots: 2201, 2007, 2014, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023.
