June 16, 1999

AM

Began a pick pass through meters E187 & 186. Continue to find large flecks of carbon and charcoal. Also continue to uncover rocks of varying size, quite similar in distribution to T26S (refer to PCS I ). there are large quantities of friable, fragmentary tile as well as several pieces of reed impressed plaster. By 10 AM have one full cassette of tile and plaster as well as one latte box of pottery and bone. Sample of charcoal in locus 14 taken.
