Began a pick pass through meters E186/S49-50. Soil retains its dark brown color as well as the continuing multitude of pottery and bone which is consistent with locus 16. Special finds for the day consist of two pieces of carved bone (Find 2 and 9), five pieces of ridged or decorated pottery, primarily impasto (finds #1,3,4,6,7) and two pieces of presumably potery which appears fenestrated or [indecipherable] (finds # 5 & 10). Also found one fragment of a possible akroterion strut (find #8). This mornings work yielded 8 latte boxes of pottery and bone and one full cassette of extremely fragmentary tile and some plaster.

Continued through meters E187 & E188/S49 & 50. The amount of material coming from the trench has remained constant throughout the day. The dark brown color of locus 16 remains constant. This afternoon's work yielded 4 latte boxes of pottery and bone. The day's work total yielded 12 latte boxes of pottery and bone and 1 cassette of extremely fragmentary tile and plaster.
