The soil became darker and more compact suggesting that a soil change was reached to the layer equal to Locus 6. Consequently, Locus 10 was levelled and the baulk walls were straightened. There were increasing inclusions of bone while plaster, tile, and pottery decreased compared to yesterday. An iron nail shaft was also recovered.
