A.M.

Continued taking down Locus 17. Soil remains a yellow-olive brown and is the consistency of galestra. A few sherds of pottery and plaster are still present in this layer. One special find this morning -- a bronze file (Find #1). It was found in meters E187.01/S51 and can be associated with either Locus 16 or 17. We continued down about 10 cm with no change in soil type, color, or texture. This afternoon, we will level the floor and shape the baulk in preparation for final drawings and closing.
