Work continued in meters G-H-I/72-73 and L-M/72-73.  Corresponding to the slope of the hill (as indicated on p. 17), the area of G-H-I/72-73 now has a northern baulk of 70 cm and a southern baulk of 20 cm.  L-M/72-73 has a northern baulk of 60 cm and a southern baulk of 30 cm.

Soil in both areas appears uniformly dark brown, although small stones are concentrated in the northern portion of G/72-73, perhaps corresponding to the stone concentration noted in JB II in the F-G meters running east-west.

Pottery recovery was light in both areas, producing a combined total of about 1/2 a latte box.  A full cassette of tile was removed, all of it highly fragmentary and worn.  An iron nail was found in meter M/73 at a depth of 0-18 cm along with a possible cut out akroterion fragment from the same meter and depth.  The slope of the hill along meter 75 and 74 N-S was drawn ( ).
