Trimmed baulk. 16 fragments of terracotta were found in the baulk trimming process.
Elevations were taken. Depth of trench now ranges from 10-18 cm below datum. Cut was taken from the west, through meters E186-188/S49-50. Locus 2n was determined to be the soil starting at about 10-18 cm bd. The soil is grayish brown, with 5 cm stones, and some roots.
In this work was found ~85 fragments of terracotta, some pieces of bone, a piece of finely levigated orangeware which still retained some glaze, and 3 pieces of ceramic (mainly impasto), a tiny fragment of bucchero, and a fragment of terracotta which had some unique curved edges. (Find #1).
