Daily Log

July 7, 1994

Work began on removing the tile fall concentrated in E/71-74.  Roughly 2 cassetta of worn tile fragments have been removed thus far.  Within the material associated with this mass of collapsed matter is a cover tile with impacted plaster (Find #1), a fragment of lateral sima, and a cover tile with a scored end, possibly for the attachment of an antefix. Pottery is found, but only sporadically.
