Introduction
The 1999 field season will continue excavation within the area of Tesoro trench 26. Meters E186-188/S49-50 and E186-188/S53-54 will maintain their boundaries and will be excavated to a lower depth. Our goalls for Tesoro trench 26 this season (1999) are: First, to seek to further the excavation begun in the 1994 and 1995 seasons (refer to TT V and TT VI ) of uncovering the depression or possible ditch which suggests an architectural relation with the workshop (SE building). Secondly, to establish and identify if the destruction fill debris from the northern edge of the workshop was pushed in the potential fossa feature. the carbon layer, characteristic of the destruction fill of the workshop, has not been identified as of yet within this particular area (refer to PCS I ). Thirdly, to continue the investigation into the tile line feature identified in previous seasons excavation (refer to TT II and III ).
