Photos were taken of all baulks in the trench. Continuing excavation within locus 17 which is characterized by a mixed layer of yellowish and olive brown. soil is very hard and difficult to sort. While there is very little material there is an abundance of plaster in comparison to pottery and bone.

Continued excavation deeper into meters E186-188/S49-50. Soil remained the yellowish-olive brown color designated locus 17. The special find of the afternoon was several fragments of heavily vitrified pottery (find #2). Today's work yielded 1/2 a latte box of pottery and bone and 1/4 cassette of tile and primarily plaster.
