Trench Summary

This season's excavation in T26N and T26S are continuations of excavations that were begun in the 1998 season.  Started with several goals in mind that were outlined in the introduction, we accomplished one of the three by identifying the characteristic workshop burn layer.  This burn layer was approximately 20 cm deep and provided a huge amount of material.  The stratigraphy from the trench provides a clear and precise examination from the orientalizing to the archaic periods of the site.
