Daily Log

August 2, 1968

Trench CA8 was laid out northeast of the dump, about 10 meters east of CA7.  A large segment of bedrock, which appeared to have worked edges on 3 sides, was found to take up most of the trench.  The trench was extended 1 meter to the north in order to follow the sides of the rock.  Only 2 tile fragments were found; galestra was reached at 0.64 m.
