Description	Locus 8 was the entirety of the rock feature of CB 46. The soil between the rocks remained the soil of Locus 2, 6, and 7: olive/brown in color and claylike in texture. The rocks themselves were very compact and small, averaging 5-10 cm in diameter, though occasionally bigger rocks (20-25cm) were found. Layered within the rocks was a great amount of architectural terracotta. One layer of architectural material within this locus was removed; none was diagnostic. Relatively little pottery was found within this locus, no bone. Many roots continued into the feature. While the density of material varied across the trench, the feature extended across the entire surface of CB-46. Both the northern and southern boundaries of the feature were found within the two extensions. In the northern extension, rock was far outnumbered by terracotta. The mass of terracotta fragments seemed to be stacked on top of one another, and ended abruptly at approximately 29.9mS. In the southern extension, the rock feature extended to 33.6mS and was included a few rocks of larger size. Beyond this point, the soil changed and thus indicated the end of the feature.
