Surface exploration methods The soil observed at the site consisted of silt loam. The site is situated in an upland setting and has thin, very eroded topsoil to a depth of less than 10 cm (8 in.) below surface. One lithic flake made of Laurel chert was recovered. No diagnostic artifacts were recovered, prohibiting the determination of a cultural affiliation.
