Description Locus 2 is characterized by a greyish-brown clay-like soil containing fewer organics and rocks than the previous locus. 2 catalogued finds came from this locus: a perforated handle (PC2014002) and a piece of terracotta with slag scarring (PC20140059). No metals were found. 2 pieces of slag weighing 16 grams, and 1 crucible fragment was found. This locus also had some charcoal. There was one fragment of bone. 76 pieces of pottery were found, 58% of which were impasto and 18% of which were coarseware. Fewer terracotta pieces were found in this locus than the previous. Locus 2 is equivalent with Locus 5.
