Description Locus 12 was mad eup of the westernmost area of CA 73. It was opened for the sole purpose of being lowered to the same layer of CA 72s weatern extent in order to determine if the same dense, hard packed dark, and mottle soil extended to the north of CA 72. THe soil in this area reamined consist with those above and around it. Notable finds within the locus were carbonized organics burnt bone, slag, and pithos fragments.
