Munsell Color 2.5Y6/3 Light Yellowish Brown
Description The olive brown, mottled soil that immediately follows the humus layer/tile dump of loci 12 and 13. The soil is fairly dense and claylike. In the northeastern corner of this locus, there was a higher artifact count, consisting mostly of pottery and bone. This, along with the soil color, is very similar to locus 8. The rest of the locus is producing little pottery or terracotta, but two pieces of bronze were found. This locus gave way to a galestra-like soil that was not excavated.
