Condition Nearly complete except for a small triangular portion missing from rim, joined from numerous fragments (approximately 38). Burned; surface worn away from most of vase.
Description A shllow bowl resting on a low, conical foot. The side walls extend outward in a gentle curve from the base of the bowl to meet a slightly everted, curving rim. The base of the interior is marked in the center with a circular, shallow groove.
Fabric Description A very fine clay nearly free of impurities, with a light brown core changing to orange as it approaches surface; surface ranges in color from small patches of black in exterior to bright orange. Probably this is badly burned bucchero.
