Description This is an arbitrary fill unit from space 340, between (15164) and (15374). For a ~20cm spit, the faunal unit is extremely small. It is also fragmentary and heteregenous, and should probably be considered background noise. The assemblage is mainly long-bone scrap, with a few identifiable splinters, teeth, and phalanges. While the scrap is split fairly evenly between sheep- and cattle-sized, the IDs are all sheep-sized (sheep/caprine where determinate) apart from a single small cattle third phalanx. There are also a couple of human specimens. Most bones are at surface condition 3, but colour and appearance are highly varied. A few specimens are burnt - about 10%. There are no articulations
