Description This locus was a sounding to reach bedrock and/or sterile soil. The soil of this locus was olive-brown in color. Fragments of terracotta and pottery sherds were found all the way to the bottom. There were numerous stones in this locus, several of them head-size and larger. Where there were not stones in the bottom of the trench there were appearing degraded limestone and sterile soil. Approximately 1/4 bowl of terracotta fragments was recovered.
