Condition Surface abraded and chipped. One hole out of edge of base, otherwise intact. Encrusted.
Description Small spindle whorl of truncated conical shape with slightly curved sides and a convex base in the center of which is a large depression around hole. Convex area of base decorqated with incised slashed lines radiating from interior edge to exterior edge. Nineteen lines in all.
Fabric Description Impasto, fired grayish-black on exterior, reddish-buff at core.
