Description Locus 8 is surrounded by bedrock in the southeasten corner of the southern extension of CA-57. The soil was a dark brown compacted soil with small amounts of terracotta and pottery. About 8 centimeters below the surface of Locus 8 the soil turned to a dark brown soil with patches of galestra-like soil and flaking patches of yellow limestone. A 2-5 centimeters after the soil turned to a hard clay-like galestra with no terracotta or pottery yielded.
