Description | Flot smpl #2, >4mm, 100% sorted, fully analyzed (5643 - perhaps only 1/2?) This is a small unit of light to medium brown bone. It is 1/2 long bone fragments and 1/2 sheep-goat feet. There is no axial skeleton and very little cranial material - even teeth. There is almost no burning, and no gnawing, digestion or polish. It looks like building fill with domestic waste. The flot sample is light to medium brown fragments. Most of the pieces are 1 or 2 cm long bone fragments. There is less then 5% burning and little digestion or polish. All the diagnostics are low value sheep-goat bones. Taphonomically the context looks like fill although the small fragment size is a significant difference. Several microfauna bones were pulled. Last Number = F36 |
