Description | Small ivory head, probably female, modeled in the round; one fragment preserves the bottom half of the face with an abraded nose, thick lips, rounded chin, and part of tress at left side of face; second fragment preserves upper half of head including part of a triangular projecting eye, high-arched brow, and a triple-tiered polos (?) with diagonal incised slashes on the lowest, widest tier. |
