Surface exploration methods Site was identified during a surface walkover with a crew of 6. The crew space was approximately 5-10 meters apart. This distance was reduced to 1-2 meter spacing when a site was found. Pin flags were used to mark the cultural material and to define site boundaries. {NOTE: no cultural periods were marked, I marked unknown prehistoric since no dateable diagnostics were discussed}
