Description Locus 9 consists of the linear rock feature running north-south through the original trench and the stone-packing running east-west through the extension to CA79. The stones in the north-south packing are relatively large, some measuring up to 30cms in size, whilst those in the east-west packing are, on average, a little smaller, measuring 10-15cms in size. A few pieces of slag and vitrified terracotta were recovered from Locus 9. Less than half a bowl of tile was recovered and a total of 26 sherds of pottery. There were no catalogued finds.
