|Description||Locus 1 consisted of an extremely root-filled and very baked topsoil that transitioned into a softer, more claylike soil which still contained a significant amount of roots. It has a brownish color and produced little amount of terra cotta and pottery. Most of the material found in the trench was found in this layer, 45 out of the 61 total pieces of pottery were found in Locus 1, (73.77%). One small fragment of bone was found as well.|
