The soil contained some small rocks as well as tree roots. Small amounts of terracotta roofing tile and pottery was excavated from this locus but no bone or metals were recovered. No chronologically diagnostic material was found in the locus. Locus 8 is equivalent to Loci 1, 2, and 9.
