Condition Almost entire; glued from two sections with large chipped area where a join would be; worn and bottom chipped.
Description Spindle whorl of truncated conical shape with curved (?) top and smooth even sides which turn in at bottom; bottom has rounded sides and impressed circular groove around hole.
Fabric Description Impasto; dark red-brown paste with fine-grained dull, brown-black exterior.
