Condition Restored from three fragments and two chips. Left hair locks broken at level of break of face. Right hair missing. Preserves portion of beginning of cover tile. Surface worn and pitted.
Description Antefix head preserving beginning of cover tile. Head has oval face with almond shaped eyes, slightly molded cheeks, triangular sharply defined nose and narrow protruding straight lips. Chin protrudes slightly. Hair is a smooth band across the forehead except where the above the nose where it curves inwards briefly. Hair falls in two vertical locks to side of head. Reverse is concave with roughly finished surface. New Join: A fragment of the lower right hair with the tubular lock separated from hair is also preserved.
