Descriptive Variable Value(s)
Recording Fully recorded
Year 1998
Description Flot sample 2 (1590), >4mm, 100% sorted, fully analyzed. See FUD for 2966. 2968 has a few bones from dry sieve, but is mainly a flot sample. It is fill-like, but is slightly dirtier than 2966 and 2967. There is a lot (a lot!) of digestion and a small amount of burning. The bones in both the dry sieve and the flot are in good condition and are not heavily abraded or rolled. Taxa included sheep/goat and cattle and pig. There was also one human premolar, which was recorded and sent to the human bone lab. The microfauna bones were removed for further study. Last Number = F35
