| Description | Locus 1 was opened on June 22, 2007 and closed that same day. The coordinates of the of Locus 1 (whole trench) are: NE: S 91.26/E 151.9; NW: S 90.99/ E 147.84;S E: S 95.23/E 151.71; SW: S 94.94/E 147.78 The original trench was slightly askew of the master grid, which explains these coordinates. Locus 1 includes the humus layer and topsoil. The soil was medium brown. There were lots of roots and rocks present in this locus. Traces of grey could be seen which indicated a new locus (Locus 2). |
