Earth Remarks Same bricky desctruction as 7K81 & 7K90; under Surf 27, Wall 5 & Pit 3 (where E balk was removed); L 36 seems to have been used to level out 37; brick is burnt the most in NE corner, where it is rock hard; range of colors--7.5YR 6/4, 5YR 8/2, 5YR 7/3, 10YR 5/4, 10YR 8/2, 10YR 7/1; red, brown, & black; cobbles & small boulders appear occasionally as well as black ash deposits prob from burned timbers; many large pieces of pottery are scattered throughout
